1. The membership
SKN Lab membership is a month-to-month skin management programme at the tier you select (Essential, Pro or Elite), including the monthly protocol sessions, quarterly Observ 520x reviews, prescribed home-care direction and member benefits described on the Membership page for your tier.
2. Billing
- Membership is billed monthly in advance via PayFast or the approved payment method on your billing date, and continues until cancelled under clause 5.
- Failed payments are retried 3 times; sessions may be paused until payment is up to date.
- Active-member retail discounts (15%) apply to Skin Store purchases while membership is active and in good standing.
3. Founding-member price-lock
Members who join during the founding window keep their tier's monthly price for as long as their membership remains active and unbroken. It never increases while you stay a member.
If a membership is cancelled and later restarted, current pricing applies. Tier changes use the price published for the selected tier at the time of the change.
4. Sessions & roll-over
- Monthly sessions are designed to be used within the calendar month.
- Unused sessions do not carry over.
- Please give at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule; missed sessions without notice may be forfeited.
5. Cancellation & freezing
- You may cancel with 30 days' written notice (WhatsApp or email is fine).
- Membership may be frozen for up to 2 months per year for travel, pregnancy or medical reasons; the founding price-lock survives an approved freeze.
- We may cancel or suspend membership for non-payment or misuse, with notice.
6. Clinical suitability
All treatments are subject to clinical suitability assessed at consultation and reviewed over time. We may adapt, substitute or decline elements of a protocol on clinical grounds — your safety outranks the schedule. Where a protocol must pause for clinical reasons, we will agree a fair arrangement for affected sessions.
7. General
These terms work together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Nothing in them limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act. Governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
