Biostimulation is a regenerative injectable treatment that awakens your skin’s own ability to repair and renew — stimulating fibroblasts to produce new collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid instead of filling or masking. At Omnia in Hilton and Ballito, doctor-selected formulations like Sculptra, Redenx and polynucleotides rebuild firmness, density and glow gradually over 6–12 weeks — results your skin makes itself.
From around age 25, we lose roughly 1% of our collagen every year. Biostimulation is how you slow, stop and quietly reverse that ledger — anywhere skin has started to thin, loosen or dull.
For laxity, dullness and the crepey texture no cream reaches. Skin becomes measurably denser, firmer and more luminous over the course of a series.
The areas that show age first and respond to filler worst — and where biostimulation genuinely shines. Crepiness smooths as new collagen builds.
Thinning skin and visible tendons age hands faster than faces. Regenerative treatment restores cushioning and skin quality naturally.
Crepey, thin under-eye skin — often a better answer than filler here. Polynucleotides improve skin quality where volume isn’t the real problem.
Where deeper collagen stimulation gradually restores the support that time deflates — subtle lift without the filled look.
Starting in your 30s, before visible ageing, to build reserves rather than replace losses later. Prevention is gentler — and cheaper — than correction.

Biostimulators are placed beneath the skin, where they trigger a controlled healing response. Your fibroblasts — the skin’s collagen factories — are switched back on, producing fresh collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid exactly where they’re placed. Unlike filler, nothing is added that your body didn’t make itself.
That’s why results arrive gradually over 6–12 weeks rather than instantly — and why they feel and move like you, because they are you. It’s also why biostimulation sits at the heart of our Skin-to-Bone approach: it treats the skin layer itself, the canvas every other treatment depends on.
Different biostimulators do different jobs. Part of the consultation is matching the right science to your skin — these are the families we work with.
Poly-L-lactic acid — the most established collagen biostimulator, working deep to rebuild structural support and firmness over a series of treatments.
A next-generation regenerative formulation that stimulates the skin’s own repair processes for improved density, elasticity and overall quality.
DNA-derived regenerative therapy that repairs, hydrates and calms — the specialist’s choice for delicate zones like the under-eye, neck and crepey skin.
A doctor assesses your skin layer by layer, then matches the right biostimulator to your concern, skin and timeline — honestly, including whether you need it yet.
30–60 unhurried minutes with topical numbing. Needle or cannula placement by area. Mild swelling or small bumps may show for a few days.
Usually 2–3 sessions, 4–6 weeks apart, while your fibroblasts do the real work between visits. Results emerge over 6–12 weeks.
We assess your progress against your starting point, then keep results compounding with maintenance once or twice a year.
Biostimulation is priced per session and per product, with series pricing agreed upfront at your consultation.

Common, short-lived effects include swelling, redness, tenderness, bruising or small bumps at the injection points — these typically settle within a few days. With collagen stimulators like PLLA, small delayed nodules are an uncommon but recognised effect; correct technique, dilution and post-treatment massage (we’ll show you how) are what keep this rare — another reason this treatment belongs in doctor-led hands.
Biostimulation is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with active skin infection at the site, or with certain autoimmune conditions. Suitability is confirmed by a doctor at your consultation — and we will decline or adapt a treatment on clinical grounds, because that is what a medical practice is for.

Fillers add immediate volume with hyaluronic acid gel. Biostimulation teaches your body to regenerate its own collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid — slower to show, but it improves the skin itself, and many plans use both.
Usually a series of 2–3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart, then maintenance once or twice a year. Your exact plan depends on your skin, the product and the area — confirmed at consultation.
Gradually, over 6–12 weeks — your skin is genuinely building new collagen, not being filled. Improvement continues for months after the series ends.
With a completed series and sensible maintenance, up to two years or more depending on the product — because the collagen produced is your own, it fades the way natural skin does: slowly.
Priced per session and product, quoted at consultation, with series pricing agreed upfront. Your consultation fee is credited to your first treatment.
Discomfort is mild and managed with topical numbing. Sessions take 30–60 minutes depending on the area.
Minimal to moderate — mild swelling, redness or small bumps for a few days. Most patients are back to normal activities the same or next day.
Doctor-selected formulations including Sculptra (PLLA), Redenx, and Mesohyal X-DNA and other polynucleotides — matched to your skin and concern, never off a menu.
Starting biostimulation before visible ageing — typically early-to-mid 30s — to build collagen reserves rather than replace losses later. From about 25 we lose roughly 1% of collagen a year; prevention is gentler and cheaper than correction.
