Botulinum toxin — “tox”, best known by the brand name Botox® — is a doctor-administered injectable that relaxes the small facial muscles that crease your skin, softening frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet. At Omnia in Hilton and Ballito, every treatment is planned and delivered under medical leadership, dosed for a refreshed, natural result — never a frozen one.
Tox is precision work: a few carefully mapped micro-injections, each with a specific job. These are the concerns we treat most.
The vertical lines between the brows that read as tired or cross — softened while your natural expressions stay yours.
Horizontal lines from raising your brows, treated with conservative dosing so your brow stays lifted and mobile.
The fan of lines beside the eyes and the crinkles on the nose bridge — softened without touching your smile.
Subtle advanced techniques: a gentle open of the brow, a soft roll of the upper lip, smoothing of chin dimpling.
Masseter reduction for a slimmer lower face and relief from clenching; neck rejuvenation for a cleaner jawline.
Beyond aesthetics: jaw clenching and grinding, excessive sweating, and vaginismus — where muscle relaxation brings real quality-of-life relief.
A doctor assesses your face at rest and in expression, listens to what bothers you, and confirms tox is right — or tells you honestly if it isn’t.
Injection points and dosing are planned for your anatomy and your goal — subtle softening or a little more, always your call.
A series of micro-injections, each a brief pinprick. No numbing needed for most areas. Straight back to your day.
Results appear from day 3–7 and peak at 14 days — when we review you, included. If anything needs a touch more, we refine it.

Botulinum toxin is a prescription medicine, and where it goes — and where it deliberately doesn’t — is the difference between refreshed and frozen. At Omnia, treatment happens inside a medical practice founded by Dr Nicky Potgieter, with the assessment, dosing judgement and follow-up that a syringe in a salon simply can’t offer.
Tox is priced per treatment area, and your exact plan is agreed at your consultation — no surprises, no upselling on the bed.

Botulinum toxin has one of the longest safety records in aesthetic medicine, used clinically for decades. Common, short-lived effects include tiny red marks, mild swelling or a small bruise at the injection points — these settle within hours to days. Rarer effects, such as a heavy brow or a temporary eyelid droop, are uncommon with experienced doctor-led injecting, and resolve fully as the product wears off.
Tox is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with certain neuromuscular conditions, or over an active skin infection. Every Omnia treatment begins with a medical consultation where your suitability is properly confirmed — and we will decline or adapt a treatment on clinical grounds, because that is what a medical practice is for.

No. We deliberately dose conservatively and map every face individually, so you keep natural expression and gentle movement. The goal is that you look rested — not different, never frozen. If you want more softening at your two-week review, we can always add; we can’t subtract.
Typically 3–4 months. Results appear within 3–7 days and peak at around 14 days. With regular maintenance, many patients find results begin to last longer as treated muscles lose their wrinkle-forming habit.
Priced per area, quoted at consultation. Your exact plan and price are confirmed at your consultation before anything happens, and the consultation fee is credited to your first treatment.
Discomfort is very mild — most patients describe each injection as a brief pinprick. The full appointment takes 15–30 minutes, and you can go straight back to your day.
Commonly: tiny red marks, mild swelling or a small bruise at injection points, settling within hours to days. Rarely: a heavy brow or temporary eyelid droop, which resolves as the product wears off. We review every patient at two weeks.
Tox relaxes the muscles that crease your skin — best for dynamic lines. Filler restores lost volume and structure — best for cheeks, lips and folds visible at rest. They treat different things and are often combined.
Yes — bruxism, masseter slimming, hyperhidrosis and vaginismus are all medically indicated uses we treat at Omnia, where muscle relaxation brings genuine quality-of-life relief.
Most patients maintain results with a treatment every 3–4 months. Your doctor will recommend the right rhythm for your face and your budget — and never more than you need.
It’s not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with certain neuromuscular conditions, or over an active skin infection. Suitability is confirmed by a doctor at your consultation.
